The Nameless City release (and demo v1.2.0 update)!
The Nameless City is finally released! We have been mostly silent on itch.io and social media, but we have been slowly working on the game during these past years. We hope you enjoy the game!
We have also updated the demo with a bit of new content and some graphic and QoL updates. It now has a save game functionality, so you can play the demo first and then continue your journey on the full game.
As the people who played the demo already know, we use AI generated images on our game. When we started developing the game years ago, we thought it was a good idea to use them to convey concepts that can’t be processed by a human, like an entity from a cosmic horror story.
Nowadays, this technology is quite controversial, as some companies are using them to replace some people and the models are trained using copyrighted material. Of course, we don’t agree on any of that. That’s why we created a post explaining how we used this technology, so you can decide if it’s fair or not.
